The DTC program provides an on-line, appointment scheduler and calendar
facility. The program currently supports three basic functions: Month-At-
A-Glance, Week-At-A-Glance, and Day-At-A-Glance.
The options are D for Day, W for Week, and M for Month. If no option is
given, the DTC options menu is displayed. Options are then solicited after
each display, until the user types Q (quit), or EX (exit).
The date format is mmddyy for Day and Week, and mmyy for the month
part. The option: D 010383 displays appointments for January third, 1983.
The option: 9:00 <appointment string> would insert the appointment specified
by appointment string in at 9 am on the default date. The default date is
the last date given. Dates may be given as mmddyy, mm/dd/yy, or dd-mmm-yy.
Entries in the DTC file of form "999999080filename.typ=" point at the
filename and the S or G cmds enter appts. in them; other cmds read them.
Use the F cmd to change files. A normal command to enter an appointment
might be:
>DTC D 010183 9:00 Fred Taylor interview
Time ranges of form hh:mm>hh:mm give intervals; don't omit 0's.
Inserting a time (or EV for evening) followed by an appointment will enter
that appointment on the current default date. Dates can be given as mmddyy,
dd-mmm-yy, or mm/dd/yy.
